1919 Family Photo
A Day in the Park

In a box filled with photographs I found this little photo. The years had taken their tole and it was ready to shatter into a number of pieces.
I scanned it front and back. Then I resized it and printed on Super Color Art Canvas.
Underneith I printed the scanned inscription which had been hand written by my mother on the reverse side.

I affixed the original photo to the left of the inscription.
Having found just the right frame, this wonderful 1919 picture of my mother, her mother (a women I never knew since she died when my mother was only ten years old), my Grandfather and my aunt is no longer hidden in a box of old photographs. It holds a place of honor in my office as a daily reminder of loved ones no longer with us.

It's easy to bring new life to old photos. And it makes you feel good to keep those past memories alive.
